In September of 2008, Katie joined Armen's office as his assistant.  Quickly integrating into the office dynamic, Katie assumed the critical role of providing support and helping this team take a bold step forward toward a new paradigm shift in professional achievement. 
 
A Wisconsin native, Katie attended the University of Wisconsin - Platteville, studying Political Science and Criminal Justice. After graduation, Katie moved to Colorado and worked as a paralegal for a small personal injury law firm in Downtown Denver.  It was there that she honed many skills she developed in college, while  building a new appreciation for the professional world. 
 
Effectively outgrowing her role and looking for a new challenge, Katie sought out this new opportunity.  She brings enthusiasm, accountability, humor and cohesion to the office, and her awareness about this industry grows daily!   In addition to maintaining organization and work-flow in the office, Katie is the liaison for all new business as well as the coordinator of client service.

Katie lives currently lives downtown and enjoys golfing, reading, hiking and the local nightlife!

Matthew is a long-time friend and colleague of Armen, as well as a fellow CU Alumnus.  Matthew grew up in Fort Lupton, Colorado - a small agricultural town north of Denver.  He graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1999 with a Finance degree and a minor in International Business.  Following college, Matthew joined the Mutual Fund Clearing team at Charles Schwab's Englewood campus.  Memorably, he passed his Series 7 securities exam on September 11th, 2001.

He spent 4 years working for Schwab before being recruited by Armen as a full time Northwestern Mutual Financial Representative.  After 3 years with Northwestern, Matthew left the firm to expand his professional product knowledge and explore alternative models within the financial services industry.  Alas, a little over a year later, (still enamored with this remarkable industry), focused more in business development and proper product-solution integration, Matthew rejoined Northwestern in a new role.

Presently Matthew has the honor of working with Armen and another successful advisor as they work to build a unique and dynamic business model together.  He lives in Thornton with his wife Jennifer and their 2 year old son Wyatt.  He is active in his church, a past co-chair of Brokers Benefiting Kids, and a 4 year member of Denver Active 20-30 Children's foundation.
